Alie Ward is a Daytime Emmy Award-winning science correspondent for CBS’s "The Henry Ford's Innovation Nation with Mo Rocca,” and appears on the Science Channel series "How to Build Everything,” Cooking Channel's ongoing show "Unique Sweets," and GE's series "In the Wild" with co-host Adam Savage of Mythbusters.

Alie studied both science & film in college and was a staff writer/editor for the Los Angeles Times and on-air contributor to KTLA. She volunteers at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and is a co-founder of the science communication collective Nerd Brigade

She is also a culinary host, having created, co-written and co-hosted over 50 videos for Cooking Channel with her friend Georgia Hardstark in their web series, "Drinks with Alie & Georgia" and "Classy Ladies with Alie & Georgia."

Their debut TV series "Tripping Out with Alie & Georgia," was executive produced by Giada De Laurentiis for Cooking Channel, and they are regular contributors on Cooking Channel's #1 show, "Unique Sweets.”

She co-hosted the popular comedy podcast "Slumber Party with Alie & Georgia" and hosts "Ologies," a comedic science podcast.
